SUB-ZERO REFRIGERATOR REPAIR
Is there a Blockage?
If you're having problems with the icemaker on your Sub-Zero refrigerator, this could be because there is a blockage in the pipe that supplies the water. To fix this, you should first look for ice in the tube. Take out the screws that hold the icemaker in place. Take the icemaker out of the refrigerator and blow a hair dryer down the tube until water stops flowing from it. Another thing you should do is install a replacement inlet valve on the refrigerator. To do this, you need to first make sure the water is off. Remove the tube you will find from the valve. Put a container down to catch the water when you turn the valve on. See if water comes out through the tube. If it does, you have a bad valve and need to replace it. If there is still a problem after replacing it, seek professional Sub-Zero refrigerator repair.
The Icemaker Is Flooding
Leaks can happen when there are problems with the water supply or the water control system. The first thing to do is have a look at the line that controls the water supply. Take a moment to look behind the fridge and see if water is coming from there. If it is, you may need to tighten the screws back there. If the tubing itself is what seems to be leaking, you should get a new tube. Next, make sure the fridge is on level ground and not tipping. If you have further issues, consider getting Sub-Zero refrigerator repair. If you have water escaping the pan below the fridge, then you probably just need to level the fridge . You also could have a problem with your drain tube. If this tube gets blocked, it can cause flooding. Take off the panels and use your blow dryer on the ice. Next, take an air pump and push some air through the tube.

There’s No Power to My Fridge or It Doesn’t Get Cold
First, you should check to make sure that the refrigerator has not been inadvertently unplugged. If it has, just plug it back in and problem solved. If that isn't the case, check the circuit breaker to be sure the circuit to the refrigerator hasn’t been tripped. If it has, all you need to do is turn it on again and you should be fine. If your problem is that the food doesn't keep cold, this can indicate a bigger problem. First, make sure the thermostat hasn’t been turned down. Also, be sure there isn’t anything blocking the vents in the fridge. This can cause the cool air to not circulate properly. (That's why it’s important not to cram your refrigerator full.) Another thing you may want to do is get the coils cleaned (see below). If all else fails, get Sub-Zero refrigerator repair from your friendly neighborhood professionals.
Cleaning the Coils
You are likely to find the coils behind the refrigerator, but they can be found in other places, depending upon the model. If yours is a newer model, the coils will be beneath it. The coils can get blocked if they get dusty. You should take the time to perform a good, thorough cleaning of the coils as well as the grill on the front. You can buy a long brush for this or you can clean them with your vacuum cleaner. The next step is to make sure there is nothing blocking the coils or the fan when the refrigerator is pushed back against the wall. If you are still having problems after all this, get professional Sub-Zero refrigerator repair.
